Swim Gala
This week on Friday, 2nd October we have the MYP swimming gala at CCBA. A letter was sent home to all parents with the details of the day. This year the Grade 9 and 10 students will be swimming in age appropriate races with the Middle School students. Every student is expected to swim and events have been structured to ensure all abilities of swimming levels are considered and included. Mr. Bell and his team of teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure it will be a competitive day for Raffles, Orchard, Somerset and Newton, but also well spirited and fun.
University Day/ToK
Our Grade 11 and 12 students will be at Preston on Friday, 2nd October working with the University Advisor on university applications and gaining a better understanding of the application process. Time is also being given for students to work on their ToK essays and presentations. In the afternoon, we will have 10 Universities visiting from Canada - this is a wonderful opportunity for our students to find out about degree programmes that they are interested in and the entry requirements. Parents/Guardians are welcome to join their son/daughter/ward from 2pm to talk to the Universities representatives.
