This week we have been very busy in the High School. The Grade 9 and 10 students completed their ISA tests and we can expect results sometime in March. We had an informative evening hosted by our College Counsellor; Ms Wilson about the University application process. It was extremely useful and gave a good insight for all students in Grade 11 and their parents. If you were unable to attend the evening, the students have all received a copy of the presentation that provides details of the process or you can contact Ms. Wilson on [email protected] for more information.
Our Grade 9 -11 students hosted an Assembly that shared their experiences on their Week Without Walls. Each trip shared information about their Service Learning and the exciting activities they completed. The videos are available through our school Facebook page and well worth a view. https://www.facebook.com/ISSInternationalSchool/?fref=ts
We ended the week with the Grade 10 MYP Personal Project Exhibition. The afternoon was the finale of the past six months when the students have been working on and completing a Project on a subject they had a passion for. The afternoon gave them an opportunity to share their results with the ISS community; a Product and 3000 word Report. The Personal Project gives the students an insight to the next step in their education when they must complete the Extended Essay in IB DP in Grade 11 and 12.
