Welcome to 2017 and a very happy new year. It was lovely to greet all our students returning to school this week. We are excited to welcome so many new students and to see ISS's student population grow. For those of you new to ISS, a very big welcome to the ISS family and I look forward to meeting all of you over the coming weeks.
Week without Walls
As you can see from the pictures, our overseas trips have now all left Singapore for their WWW trips. The grade 10 students were the first to depart in the morning for Cambodia, followed by the grade 11 students heading off to Lombok and finally the grade 9 students to Vietnam. To keep abreast of what is happening please access the website - students and teachers will be posting photos and updates of their daily adventures; http://issweekwithoutwalls2017.weebly.com/
Our students involved in the local trip will kick of their adventures tomorrow at a Cooking Challenge.
ISS Spring School Delights
I would like to introduce our inaugural ISS Spring School Delights 2017 with a whole range of exciting activities. For the younger children they could be outdoors learning about the local flora and fauna and environmental sustainability, or keeping healthy through dance and exercise. For our High school students who want to improve their English language skills, we will be offering an intensive 2 weeks course to help students be a more confident English language student by the end of Spring.
Whether you want your students just to have fun and exercise; or delight in new discoveries outside of the classroom; or speak English better– the ISS Spring School Delights 2017 will achieve all of the above! Each day’s a learning journey, with hands-on experiences in language immersion, science, and sports.
So don’t miss out. Go to issspring.edu.sg or call +65 9722 5340 or email [email protected] to sign up now.
