This past week has once again been full of wonderful learning opportunities for our students. We have seen students extend their learning away from the classroom in Grade 11 and Grade 9, we also had a well received and packed house for our information evening about our DP programme for the parents of Grade 10 students, with our current DP students providing some tips on how to prepare and approach the two year course. We ended the week with 'Karaoke' in the hall and everyone had a chance to let their hair down and sing.
During November we had a number of teachers and students involved in the Movember campaign and Mr Larkins sent this message to everyone. 'Together we raised $260.00 for the Movember Foundation. This money will go towards researching treatment and prevention of Men's Health Issues. Not only did we raise money, but we also had students and staff members engaging in discussions on the topic of Men's health. This is a huge part of the Movember campaign and I was really happy to see these discussions taking place.' For more information about Movember please click on this link: sg.movember.com/
