Talented Students - JA Company Program Competition.
Each year, Mrs Palekar mentors a team of students that study Business and Management in the DP, to participate in the Junior Achievement Project (http://www.ja.org.sg/)
On Saturday our students presented at the final and "ISS was the first runner up (2nd prize) in the JA Company Program competition. Our students did us proud - they won the Best video award - a medal - the judges compared it to the Oscars👌
They had ticked all the boxes for all the criteria - Annual report, Video advertisement, Presentation, Trade booth display and Interview with judges. But a local school won the first place - who go to Tokyo for the Final Asia Pacific challenge next month." (Mrs Palekar).
The students were true risk-takers, thinkers, communicators and inquirers and we congratulate them all on this wonderful achievement.

Week Without Walls
Our students have all returned safely from their Week Without Walls trips. They will have participated in many different service learning projects and they will hopefully reflect on the cultures, people and countries they visited and realise how they truly do 'Make a Difference'. The WWW blog is a testament to this through the many pictures that capture the students engaged in activities and work. The trips cannot take place without our teachers committment and a special thanks goes to them all for accompanying the students and helping make our ISS WWW a memorable one.
Upcoming events
Friday 27th January - High School introduction for G8 parents. Preston Campus, Hall at 8:15am.
Monday 30th January - No school (Lunar New Year)
Tuesday 31st January - No school (Staff professional development day)
Wednesday 1st February - No school (Staff professional development day)
Thursday 2nd February - Students return to school
