We have seen our students being very active these past few weeks as they participated in celebrating Global Youth Week and giving back to our community. Our Grade 9 and 10 students have been engaged in a full range of activities from preparing and hosting a breakfast for our support staff, handing out flowers and chocolates to all the teachers and administration staff, cleaning up Depot road, preparing posters and painting two classrooms. Parent Focus Group Meeting
Another chance to provide helpful feedback to the school is to come to the Parent Focus Group Meeting. This is an important way that the school can get parental feedback to ensure our continual improvement:
Focus Group Meeting
Thursday, 27th April
Elementary School Multipurpose Hall
7pm.
This meeting is open to all parents.
This focus group aims to explore the findings from the Parent Survey that was recently completed so that we can fully understand parent perceptions and use this information to further strengthen our services. This is a great opportunity to be a part of ISS' decision making processes!
If you would like to attend, please contact [email protected] to book a place.
Wine and canapés will be served.
On Tuesday we will be welcoming the Grade 8 students to the High School, where they will get a taster of lessons, meet our student council and learn a little more about life in the High School.
Please mark your calendar for our MYP Arts Showcase on May 3rd (change of date) at 6pm.
